PROJECT: New-build Housing for Shared Ownership

SUMMARY: 19 two bedroom houses on a very tight, brownfield site in Dingle, created by demolition of terraced Victorian houses. The site was exceedingly narrow but the scheme design still facilitates street-facing properties on both existing streets, through the introduction of some wide frontage, one-way facing houses, and to turn the corners at either end with bespoke corner dwellings. Parking is a mix of in-curtilage and on-street provision.

SERVICES: Full architectural services for Plus Dane Housing from inception to planning approval. All construction drawings for the contractor at post-contract stage and, in addition, an on-site ‘problem-solving- service.

During the pre-planning stages, Triangle was involved in very comprehensive liaison with a complex range of funding authorities and agencies.
